The anti-ragging cell plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students by implementing various functions. Primarily, the cell focuses on raising awareness and preventing instances of ragging through orientation programs and awareness campaigns. It provides a confidential platform for students to report incidents of ragging, conducts thorough investigations, and offers counseling and support services to victims. Additionally, the cell enforces disciplinary actions against committers, monitors campus activities, coordinates with authorities, engages with stakeholders, maintains documentation, advocates for policy improvements, and conducts training programs to enhance the capacity of members in preventing and addressing ragging effectively. Through these functions, the anti-ragging cell works towards fostering a respectful and inclusive campus environment where students can pursue their academic endeavors without fear of harassment or intimidation.
