In accordance with the university norms we have a well-established Students’ GrievanceRedressal Cell functioning in our institution which provides assistance for seekingconductive and unprejudiced solutions on issues related to infringement of students’rights. The cell is functional with the principal as the head and six faculty members ascoordinators. The stakeholders are requested to present their grievances and suggestionsin the written format. The cell promotes, maintains and contributes for a perfect ambiancefor teaching – learning atmosphere.
During 2021-22 the cell received several grievances from the students’ representativesrelated to issues in general. All of them were brought to the attention of the concernedauthorities on time and ensured solution for the same. The cell received the following
It is functioning according to the following UGC norms.
All complaints are first addressed by Grievance Committee whose composition is as follows:
a. Principal of the college- Chairperson
b. Six faculty members were nominated by the Principal of the College.
c. One Student representative is nominated by the Principal of the College.TheTenure of the members shall be one year.
d.The committee shall send the report and recommendations to the Vice-Chancellor of theaffiliating University if it is not redressed.
» Digital feedback is taken from all the students through the computer lab towards the end ofeach academic year.
» Suggestion boxes are installed near the college office and library in which the students candrop their suggestions and complaints with or without revealing their ideas.
» The College portal has an online Grievance Redressal area for registering their complaints.Complaints can be filed online at grievance@ssvcollege.ac.in.This is introduced to enable thestudents to express their grievances easily without delay.

1. To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among all the stakeholders in order tomaintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the institute.

3. To encourage the students to express their grievances/problems freely and frankly, withoutany fear of being victimized.
4. The function of the cell is to consider the complaints filed by students and find outits merit.
5. The complaints are attended promptly on receiving written grievances from thestudents.
6. The cell formally examines the cases and acts accordingly the management policy.
7.The cell reports the same to the concerned authority if the cases needs to be attendedby higher authorities.
Cell gives the students a fair and proper channel through which their problems can bebrought to the light. Through this, the students develop a feeling of security. Considering thatstudents right now, live in a world of increasing peer and societal pressures, the cell also provides anoption to report grievances anonymously, in case a student does not wish to reveal their identity.
